Our Journey

Our Logo Timeline
2017- Present
At Tropical Seas, we believe that protecting our oceans is not just an idea, but a responsibility. Our founder's passion for the ocean began on a spearfishing trip where he witnessed first-hand the impact of pollution on our marine life. The image of plastic waste inspired him to create a sustainable clothing brand that would help prevent further harm to our oceans. Our logo, featuring a ship wheel and a pineapple, came to our founder in a dream, and with the help of an inspiring artist, it became a reality. Starting out, we sold our shirts out of the back of our car and through text messages to friends and family. Our first three drops of shirts all sold out, and we knew we were on to something special. We organized our first beach cleanup at the exact spot where our founder was inspired to create the brand, and we released our own beer, a light pineapple IPA, with the help of Heavy Reel Brewery.
Our hard work and dedication paid off, we were the highest selling vendor at our first event in Asbury Park. As we grew, we faced challenges that nearly caused us to lose our brand. But we refused to give up, and we educated ourselves on how to create a functioning clothing brand. We are now proud sponsors of beach cleanups and America's Largest Bikini Contest, working alongside major brands like 4ocean and Pit Viper. Our customer base spans nearly all 50 states and sales internationally, with plans to open more international markets in the future. At Tropical Seas, we remain committed to our mission of protecting our oceans and creating sustainable clothing for those who share our passion. Thank you for joining us on this journey.

Our Commitment to Sustainability

At Tropical Seas Clothing, we are passionate about protecting our oceans and coral reefs. In 2017, our brand was founded with a strong commitment to sustainability, and we believe that we have a responsibility to do everything we can to minimize our impact on the environment.

Eco-Friendly Fabrics for a Better World

Our commitment to sustainability is evident in every aspect of our brand. From the materials we use to the manufacturing processes we employ, we are constantly striving to reduce our environmental footprint. We believe that by doing so, we can help preserve the natural beauty of our oceans and ensure that they remain a source of inspiration and wonder for generations to come.

Sustainable Production for a Cleaner Future

One of the key ways in which we practice sustainability is through our choice of materials. We use a range of eco-friendly fabrics, including organic cotton, hemp, and recycled polyester. These materials not only have a lower impact on the environment, but they are also of the highest quality, ensuring that our clothing is comfortable, durable, and stylish.

Ethical Labor Practices for a Fairer World

We also work closely with our manufacturing partners to ensure that our production processes are as sustainable as possible. We use low-impact dyes and other environmentally-friendly techniques to reduce our water usage and minimize our carbon footprint. In addition, we prioritize ethical labor practices and strive to create a safe, healthy, and equitable work environment for everyone involved in the production of our clothing.

Sustainable Packaging for a Greener Planet

Finally, we are committed to using sustainable packaging materials and minimizing waste in all aspects of our business. We use recycled and biodegradable packaging materials whenever possible, and we encourage our customers to recycle or reuse our packaging materials after they receive their orders.

Join Our Mission for a More Sustainable World

At Tropical Seas Clothing, we believe that sustainability is not just a buzzword, but a way of life. We are proud to be a brand that is committed to protecting our oceans and coral reefs, and we hope that our commitment inspires others to join us in our efforts to create a more sustainable world.
